Did the earth move for you last night?

If you were fast asleep you may have missed it, but my whole home shook from side to side as Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire in the East Midlands experienced its biggest earthquake for years.

The tremor was big enough to shake whole houses and wake most people up from their sleep.

The shock wave was felt as far away as Leiciester and at 1.14am as i write this, there is no local or internet news reporting.

27th February 2008 at 1.04am Derbyshire in the East Midlands experienced a large earthquake.
